I Believe that this poem is referring to how you might dream of something special happening or recall something happening that never really happened. It’s kinda of about when you get back to school and you’re anxiously awaiting for summer to come again and you have all the thoughts of how much fun last summer was, well sometimes those thoughts turn into dreams of what you wish your summer was like or what you want it to be this coming summer.
This poem reminds me of last summer at the last camp I went to. It reminds me of this particular camp because the poem has a lot of reference to things that would usually be found in nature. The camp I went to was not located in the woods, but it was in a log cabin in an area with a lot of trees and a nature like atmosphere. Besides the nature feel, this poem reminds of this particular camp because it mentions, “The purpose of knee was to be skinned.” This reminds me of this camp because to skin your knee, you have to fall and at this camp I had two remember-able falling incidents. One was breaking my flip flops and tripping and the other was when I slid into a stack of tables because the floor was slippery. Lastly, this poem reminds me of this camp when it says “Unicorns were still possible.” This reminds me of this camp because unicorns resemble imaginations and creativity. At this camp we had to create something and I created a TV show entitled ” You Got Schooled.” This is what this poem reminds me of.

There is the question out in the science world about whether or not fluoride should be added to the drinking water. Adding fluoride to the drinking water could help prevent tooth decay. Fluoride can prevent tooth decay because it has the ability to reduce the ability of bacteria in plaque to make tooth-weakening acids, and it can help to eliminate the tooth areas where acid has already began to take affect. This is why some people want to add fluoride to the drinking water. Those who don’t want to add fluoride to the drinking water say that adding fluoride could cause fluorosis, where teeth become stained and pitted, and that fluorosis has even been linked to bone cancer.
I personally don’t really have an opinion on whether or not fluoride should be added to the drinking water. From my stand point either way has its negative side affects. If you don’t add fluoride to the drinking water than the poor children whose parents can”t afford to send them to the dentist could develop gingivitis, an inflammation of the gums surrounding the teeth, which could be life threatening. Then, if you do add fluoride to the drinking water, that could cause teeth staining and bone cancer, which is also life threatening. So, if they were to add fluoride to the drinking water, my biggest concern wold be the possibility on developing bone cancer.
Not only is there talk about the drinking water having fluoride in it, but toothpaste and mouthwash already have fluoride in them. Fluoride was added to these products because of fluorides ability to prevent teeth decay which is one of the causes for halitosis, bad breath, which is why we have mouthwash and toothpaste.
This is the talk about fluoride in the science community.

Here are some of the websites I used to get information:
